Comfortable and safe working conditions
Starting the STIHL MS 881 petrol chainsaw is designed to be as effortless as possible. The decompression valve and STIHL ElastoStart system significantly simplify the starting process. The single-lever control allows you to operate all functions with just one hand, keeping your right hand on the handle at all times. The STIHL anti-vibration system effectively reduces vibrations at the handle, protecting your muscles and joints.
The HD2 air filter, made of polyethylene, filters even very fine dust, keeping all dirt away from the engine. Cleaning and replacing the filter can be done effectively without tools. To prevent any contact between your hand and the saw chain or the bumper spike, the chain tensioning screw is located on the side. To stop the chainsaw, simply press the stop button . Once the chainsaw has stopped, it automatically returns to the start position, allowing you to restart the STIHL MS 881 immediately.
